The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers, Recaps & Breaking News

Inside Forrester Creations: Glamour, Couture & Rivalry in Los Angeles

Debuting in March 1987 as the sister series to The Young and the Restless, CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful packs maximum emotional velocity into its fast-paced half-hour weekday format. Set against the sun-drenched luxury of Beverly Hills and Malibu, California, B&B centers on the world-famous couture house Forrester Creations, where runway triumphs and romantic betrayals unfold under the same roof.

For nearly four decades, the emotional axis of the series has turned on the generational tug-of-war between the aristocratic Forrester family—led by founder Eric Forrester, Ridge Forrester, Steffy Forrester, and Taylor Hayes—and the resilient Logan sisters, Brooke Logan, Katie Logan, and Donna Logan, alongside Brooke’s daughter Hope Logan.

Steffy vs. Hope, Spencer Publications & Il Giardino Wildcards

In the executive suite of Forrester Creations, every decision about Hope for the Future or the couture line sparks fierce clashes between co-CEO Steffy Forrester, Hope Logan, Ridge, Brooke, and chief operating officer Carter Walton. Across town at Spencer Publications, media mogul "Dollar" Bill Spencer and his sons Liam and Will Spencer bring corporate muscle and complicated romantic history to the canvas.

Meanwhile, over at Deacon Sharpe’s popular restaurant Il Giardino and the Malibu cliff house, unpredictable wildcards like nine-toed survivor Sheila Carter, Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan, Li Finnegan, and Luna Nozawa ensure that peace in Los Angeles never lasts more than a single afternoon.
