Days of Our Lives Spoilers, Recaps & Breaking News

Welcome to Salem: How Days of Our Lives Thrives on Peacock

Since its iconic hourglass opening first debuted in November 1965, Days of Our Lives has captivated generations of viewers with sweeping supercouples, audacious twists, and multi-generational family loyalty in Salem, Illinois. Now streaming exclusively on Peacock, DOOL embraces both heartfelt family drama and high-stakes Gothic suspense in ways no other daytime serial dares.

Salem’s social and financial hierarchy revolves around four foundational pillars: the compassionate Horton and Brady clans—who represent the town’s moral heart at the Brady Pub and Salem University Hospital—and the ruthlessly ambitious DiMera and Kiriakis dynasties, whose battles over DiMera Enterprises and Titan Industries fuel non-stop corporate and personal intrigue.

DiMera Mansion Schemes, Kiriakis Feuds & Salem’s Iconic Supercouples

Inside the DiMera mansion, EJ DiMera, Chad DiMera, Kristen DiMera, and Johnny DiMera constantly navigate secret tunnels, contested wills, and shifting alliances, while across town at the Kiriakis estate, Xander Cook, Philip Kiriakis, Alex Kiriakis, and Brady Black clash over Victor Kiriakis’s corporate legacy and Sarah Horton’s heart.

Meanwhile, beloved veterans Marlena Evans, Kayla Brady, Steve "Patch" Johnson, and Julie Williams anchor the emotional core of Salem, guiding younger couples like Johnny and Chanel Dupree, Stephanie Johnson, and Tate Black and Holly Jonas through blackmail plots, shock paternity reveals, and miraculous Dr. Wilhelm Rolf resurrections.
