Beyond the Gates Spoilers, Recaps & Breaking News

Behind the Gates of Fairmont Crest: Daytime Television’s Newest Power Dynasty

Making television history as the first brand-new network daytime soap opera in more than twenty-five years, CBS’s Beyond the Gates invites viewers inside Fairmont Crest—an affluent, tightly guarded gated community in the Maryland and Washington, D.C. suburbs where wealth, political influence, and multi-generational prestige rule every interaction.

At the center of Fairmont Crest stands the formidable Dupree family, led by revered matriarch Anita Dupree and retired statesman Vernon Dupree. Behind the manicured lawns and black-tie galas of the Fairmont Crest Country Club, every member of the family is fighting to protect the Dupree name while nursing explosive personal secrets.

The Dupree, Richardson & Hamilton Families: Who’s Who in Maryland

The fireworks inside Fairmont Crest ignite around fierce Dani Dupree, whose public betrayal by her ex-husband—powerhouse attorney Bill Hamilton—and his whirlwind marriage to much younger former family friend Hayley Lawson split the community down the middle. Meanwhile, Dani’s sister Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson and her husband Dr. Ted Richardson face their own seismic shocks as hidden truths surface via Eva Thomas and Kat Richardson.

With political ambitions driving Congressman Martin Richardson, legal battles testing Naomi Hamilton and detective Jacob Hawthorne, and glamorous influencer Chelsea Dupree stirring the pot, every gathering behind the wrought-iron gates delivers high-society soap drama at its finest.
